POPULAR children’s entertainer and magician, Magic Russ, ignited sparks of excitement at Kidderminster’s Little Trinity Nursery farewell celebration, writes Rafi Khan.
Russ made the Red Ladybirds’ leavers party one the children, their families and staff would never forget.
Gaynor Carter, the manager of the nursery, said: “Marking the children’s time at nursery with a final celebration is yet another way we prepare them for school, and it’s something the families of our children greatly value.”
The celebration to mark the end of the children’s nursery journey was launched by an energetic disco which had all the children up on their feet grooving and laughing the afternoon away.
The excitement then soared when the Kidderminster-based entertainer Russ, brought out the stars of his show.
Thrilling acts were showcased, including Chico the mind reading monkey, Puddles the Platypus and the crowd’s favourite Dave The Wonderdog who filled the hall with joyful applause at the sight of his magical and silly tricks.
The magic did not end with the performance as each child received a Magic Russ balloon and some party treats to help them continue the celebration.
The gleeful afternoon ended as families mingled and children snacked and jovially compared their party balloons.
