MORE Healthy Worcestershire venues have been announced, providing communities with even more places to exercise, socialise and receive advice.
There are now over 20 venues live across the county, with more to be announced soon.
Healthy Worcestershire are local health and wellbeing sessions, that are all about feeling good and connecting with others.
The session are available for people to take part in gentle exercises like strength and balance, hear helpful health tips, and get advice on staying safe in the community.
The latest venues to be announced on Wednesdays are Bromsgrove Rugby Club from 2pm to 4pm and Little Witney Village Hall in Worcester 10am to 12noon.
Sessions at the Horizon Hub Worcester are on every Monday from 6.45pm to 8pm, Honeybourne Village Hall in Evesham every Friday 2pm to 4pm and Redditch Borough Football Club every Saturdays from 10am to 12noon.
Coun David Ross, cabinet member for health and wellbeing at Worcestershire County Council, added: “We are continuing to expand the Healthy Worcestershire programme, and we’ve got even more new venues for our group sessions coming soon.
“We want to help as many people across the county to have more opportunities to socialise and increase the amount of exercise they are doing. I would encourage anybody hesitating to get involved to take that first step, and sign up for a session near you.”
