RESIDENTS across Kidderminster, Bewdley and Stourport are being reminded there will be changes to NHS services, such as GP practices and pharmacies, as it is a bank holiday.
The first point of call for minor injuries should be NHS 111 – either visit 111.nhs.uk or call 111 from a phone.
NHS 111 can help people access a variety of local services, including minor injury units (MIUs), out-of-hours GP appointments, emergency dental appointments and pharmacy consultations.
The MIUs across Worcestershire – where waiting times are often a lot less than A&Es – are also open.
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, runs the MIUs in Bromsgrove, Evesham, Malvern, Tenbury and Kidderminster.
MIUs provide advice and treatment for a variety of minor injuries including cuts, grazes, wounds, sprains, minor eye injuries, strains, and minor burns.
New Year’s Day – Pharmacy times
