OPEN EVENING - Could you help Friends group at Hartlebury Parish Hall?

Kidderminster Editorial 22nd Jul, 2025

THE FRIENDS of Hartlebury Parish Hall are looking for volunteers to join their ranks and are holding an open evening to show exactly what the group does.

The event takes place at the hall on Thursday, July 24, with the bar opening at 6.45pm.

People who have a few hours each month and want to do something for their community are being urged to become join the Friends group.

The team will pair people up with a Trustee to work on different areas.

These may include helping to keep the surroundings tidy to ensure the hall looks at its best, maintain the building from wear and tear to keep it fresh and up-to-date or serve in the hall’s bar.

Other roles could include contributing to grant applications to raise funds to make the hall even better, helping prepare and take down events such as the Community Cafe and concerts and coming up with ideas for plans, such as refits and designs.

Anyone interested in volunteering with the Friends of Hartlebury Parish Hall should go down on Thursday evening from 6.45pm or call the group’s Chair, Cath Holden on 01299 250808 or the Secretary Elizabeth Davies on 01299 250666.

The team looks forward to welcoming some new faces.
