THE CROWDS turned out to watch Wyre Forest Scout’s annual St George’s Day parade on Sunday.

Almost 700 Scouts, Beavers, Cubs, Guides, Brownies, Rainbows and more were part of the mass gathering.

They met in New Road before parading to Kidderminster Harriers’ Aggborough Stadium.

There – with everyone sitting on the fittingly red and white seats – a celebration service was held and there was a reaffirmation of theĀ Scout and Guide promise.

Among them was Kings Norton Youth Marching Band from south Birmingham which was taking part in its first ever Kidderminster St George’s Day Parade.

After the service, the parade made its way back through the town centre where the Deputy Mayor of Kidderminster took the salute.
