THERE was lots of laughter, great company, cake and new connections made when the free ‘Brew Monday’ community coffee morning was held on the May Day bank holiday at Jelleymans Mill.
The event provided an opportunity for the community to come together, connect with old friends, make new ones and learn more about the vital work of Jelleyman’s Heritage Arts Charity.
Samuel Davies, the CEO of the charity, said: “What a brilliant Brew Monday event.
“We had the pleasure of meeting some of the board members from Kidderminster Horticultural Society and showing them around and The Crafty Jelley was abuzz with coffee and conversation – it was a terrific morning!
“Huge thanks to Liz for organising the event, Margaret and Ray’s Bakehouse for the fabulous cake and bake donations, Focus Photography for taking the pictures on the day and Trish and Mark for hosting the Crafty Jelley.
“Thanks as well to all you wonderful folk who attended – you are stars one and all.”
