Police appeal after cash is stolen from gambling machines in Stourport pub burglary

Tristan Harris 8th Jul, 2025

CASH was stolen from two gambling machines when masked men broke into a pub in Stourport in the early hours of last Friday morning.

The incident happened at The Port House on Bridge Street around 3.30am.

Two men, wearing dark clothing and hoods up, smashed the front window of the pub and, after stealing the cash from two gambling machines, they left the area.

Det Ch Insp Warren Matthews said: “I am appealing to anybody who may have information that could help with our enquiries into a break-in at The Port House in Stourport.

“We appreciate the burglary took place in the early hours, but perhaps someone may have seen suspicious activity hours before or they captured something on their dash cam or doorbell which could help identify the people involved or a vehicle used.”

Witnesses or anyone with information should email DCI Matthews at: [email protected] with what they know.
