Police appeal after Yamaha motorbike was stolen from Stourport and set on fire

A SILVER Yamaha FZS 600 was stolen from Stourport between 4.20pm and 6pm on Monday and later set on fire.

The bike, which had the partial registration number ‘DKD’ was taken from Lion Hill.

At 7.30pm, the motorbike was found ablaze on a footbridge at Cheapside in Stourport.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Stourport Police Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Residents living in the area are also being urged to check their doorbell and CCTV footage to see if it captured any suspicious activity relating to the theft and arson.
