POLICE are trying to track down the riders of motorbikes which have been making residents’ lives a misery in Kidderminster.
Officers from Kidderminster Police Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) received reports of the bikes being ridden anti-socially around Jubilee Drive North and the surrounding roads.
Masked and causing havoc
None of the riders wore helmets, none of the bikes displayed registration plates and they were riding in a careless manner. The vehicles were pit bikes – one was red and white, one was orange and the other was white and blue.
The riders wore dark clothing and covered their faces with balaclavas.
Police attended but were unable to locate the bikes. It is believed they may have been hidden in a nearby property.
Officers said anti-social vehicle use had an impact on the local community, could lead to damage to green spaces, cause noise nuisance and, they added, riders risked injuring themselves and others.
Anyone who knows who the riders were should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Alternatively, report information via email to: [email protected] and submit it there.
A police spokesperson said: “It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.”
