A NUMBER of power tools were stolen during a shed burglary in Belbroughton Road, Hackmans Gate, Broome.
Thieves struck sometime overnight between Friday and yesterday (Saturday).
Two sheds were targeted with the raiders breaking locks and smashing handles to gain entry.
The sheds were located near to a field where the thieves have broken a fence to gain access. They used the owners garden furniture to get from the garden to a field where a vehicle was waiting to transport the stolen items.
Among the haul were Sthil chainsaws including a pole chainsaw, brass door knockers, horse brasses and bells.
Some of these items were in drawers, which the owner found strew on the grass verge nearby. The contents having been tipped out to the waiting vehicle.
Police want to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious.
