Pre-loved uniform sales at Kidderminster nursery will raise funds for Comic Relief

PARENTS AT a Kidderminster nursery will be supporting this year’s Comic Relief by donating £100 from the sale of preloved uniform items, writes Lydia Gee.

Being able to buy outgrown uniform items is cost effective for nursery parents. Cash raised is usually given back to parents, while some donate these proceeds to the nursery, which they then pass onto charities such as Kemp, Crackerjacks, and so many others.

Nursery manager Gaynor Carter said: “Like many other nurseries and schools, when children grow out of their uniform it’s then brought into nursery and made available for other families to buy, as at this young ages they don’t stay little for very long.

“This time our chosen charity is Comic Relief and it’s thanks to so many nursery parents that we can donate £100 and we’d like to express our gratitude for their generosity.”
