SEVERAL passenger train carriages on the Severn Valley Railway have had their windows smashed.
Vandals targeted the stationary train carriages, which are located near to the Wyre Forest Leisure Centre, between 6pm on April 6 and 5pm on April 7.
The SVR is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and this will be a blow to the charity which works hard to preserve its important part of railway heritage.
In January, the SVR was hit by a landslip which severely damaged a section of track.
Weat Mercia Police are investigating the vandalism and have urged witnesses or anyone with information to call officers on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
