THIEVES tried to steal a Fiat 500 while it was parked in Kidderminster.
The raiders struck between 7.30pm yesterday (Monday) and 9.30am this morning (Tuesday) at an address on Chester Road South.
They smashed windows to gain access to the vehicle and broke off the door handles before ripping out the casing.
They were unsuccessful in their attempt to steal the car due to the owner having a Ghost immobiliser installed.
The thieves then stole some of the owner’s personal possessions from the vehicle.
Kidderminster Police Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) are investigating the incident and have urged any witnesses or anyone with information to call officers on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Officers are also interested in hearing from anyone with doorbell camera footage of the area.
