A STRETCH of road in Bewdley is set to be closed from tomorrow (Monday, January 6) for a total of 236 days.
Part of the B4190 Load Street will be shut (one-way) from its junction with Severn Side South to the B4190 Beales Corner
And the B4190 Beales Corner will be closed from its junction with B4190 Load Street to its junction with B4190 Kidderminster Road will also be shut during the same period.
The closures are to enable The Environment Agency to carry out repairs to the flood defence system.
Access to premises will be granted but there will be no through route. Diversions are being put in place.
Diversions
The following diversions are in place:
B4190 Welch Gate, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 Cleobury Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass, A456 Stourport Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass and the B4190 Kidderminster Road.
The same diversion will operate in the opposite direction.
