THE night sky over Kidderminster will be illuminated with various bright colours as Bonfire Night approaches.
Bonfire night falls on a Tuesday this year, but there are plenty of events taking place over the coming weekend on November 1-3, and the following weekend on 8-10.
Malvern has an an excellent vantage point to make the most of firework’s night in the hills. Wrap up warm, bring a torch and a flask and head up to The Beacon for the best views of all The Malvern’s fireworks and bonfires.
Across the weekend, several events will be held.
Stourport Sports Club
On November 1, Stourport Sports Club is hosting a bonfire and firework night from 5pm.
The firework display will start at around 8pm, alongside a laser show, fire breathers and dancers and a live music stage.
Street food, craft stalls and drinks will be available throughout the evening.
There is limited free car parking at the venue, and it is a first come first served basis.
Hartlebury
On November 3, Hartlebury Castle will have a bonfire night with two displays, the first will be at 4.30pm and the second at 7.30pm.
Alongside a laser show, fire breathers and dancers and a live music stage, there will be street food, craft stalls and drinks will be available throughout the evening.
There is free parking at the venue, tickets are selling quickly, so be sure to book and avoid disappointment.
Chester Road Bowling Club
The club will be hosting their very own fireworks on November 1, which is a good way to introduce youngsters to fireworks as it’s a small display.
This year, it will be £2 per adult, children go free and tickets include a raffle ticket.
From 6.30pm at the Bowling Club, there will be food ad drinks available.
Bonfire Bonanza
On November 1, from 4.30pm to 11pm there will be a bonfire and firework night held at Far Forest Showground, Far Forest, Bewdley.
The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the display will be around 7.30pm.
Live music, funfair rides, face painting, food and drinks will all be available throughout the event.
