AN AMATEUR dramatic group has issued a rally call for new members to join its ranks, writes Tayla O’Hara.
Wolverley Village Players has recently celebrated its tenth anniversary and performs a pantomime every January at Wolverley Memorial Hall.
Details of the next production will be announced at a launch night at the hall at 7pm a week on Monday, July 14.
With details of the January 2026 production being revealed, anyone thinking about being part in it is urged to go along.
As well as on-stage roles, there are also behind the scenes places to be filled.
Rehearsals are usually on Monday evenings from September.
In January 2025, the group performed ‘Beauty and the Beast of Bodenham’ to sell out audiences, who gave positive feedback on the theme and amazing tree costumes which were designed by local artist Debbi Gould.
