A WOLVERLEY school has raised more than £600 for Simply Limitless, a wellbeing charity based in Kidderminster.
The charity day was the first to be led by the Heathfield Knoll School’s Pupil Parliament and was a huge success.
A variety of activities took place on the day, including pupils having ‘crazy hair’ in return for a small donation.
The children also enjoyed breaktime stalls on the playground which sold tuck treats and handmade bracelets.
At lunchtime, the pupils were given the chance to ‘soak the teacher’, which was a particularly popular activity.
The school wants to say a huge thank you to the staff who allowed themselves to be pummelled with wet sponges.
The day culminated in movie night at the ‘school cinema’.
A Heathfield Knoll School spokesperson said: “It was a lovely way to end such a positive day for our school community.”
Simply Limitless, which helps people of all ages with both their physical and mental health, was thrilled to find out about the fundraising and all support received will help pay for the vital work the charity does for the community of Wyre Forest.
The charity would love to hear from other people or groups interested in fundraising for it.
