YOUNG people in Kidderminster can try something new this February half-term – learning about and having a go at playing the harp.
The ‘Laima Plays Harp’ session will take place at Jelleymans Mill, Puxton Lane, from 10am to 11am on Wednesday, February 19.
Laima – a harpist based in Kidderminster – will be playing, answering questions and bringing along mini harps for youngsters, aged up to 18, to play.

Everyone is welcome and participants in the session must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to listen, learn and sing along.
Doors open at 9.45am and the session offers something very different to the usual school holiday activities. It may even inspire in some participants a passion and interest to take up learning to play this beautiful instrument.
Tickets cost £5 and can be booked online here.
