BEWDLEY CC just fell short of completing a run chase in pursuit of 185 in a draw against Colwall.
Colwall posted 184 all out in 49.4 overs at Lower Park as home bowler Jack Mills recorded impressive figures of 5-41.
Top order batters Bruno Recordon (49) and Jack Collins (47) both fell just short of half-centuries as Mills claimed both scalps.
And Bewdley mopped up the tail efficiently as Sam Wilson (2-38), Tom Odell (2-53) and Rob Combes (1-26) all took wickets.
The home side appeared well-placed to complete the run chase as Jamie Boyle (60) recorded a half-century.
Combes (34) and Odell (26) also chipped in with useful runs with Simon Mauger (18 not out) just unable to help Bewdley to victory.
Bewdley took eight points from the fixture with the club second in the Worcestershire County League Division One table.
Bewdley are next in action against Halesowen 2nds on Saturday, July 12 with the game to begin at 12.30pm at Seth Somers Park.
