BEWDLEY CC claimed a four-wicket win against Droitwich Spa in a low-scoring affair.
The hosts bowled out Spa for just 72 runs in 28.3 overs at Lower Park.
However, the visitors had Bewdley in trouble on 57-6 before the home side eventually reached the required total.
Bewdley won the toss and elected to field and removed Spa opener Harry Butler (5) in the fourth over.
Spa’s other opener, Sam Woolley (8), fell shortly after as Sam Wilson (4-26) claimed his first scalp.
Wilson also accounted for Xavier Ariam Thuriappah (2), Jonathan Miles (11) and Lincoln Kellett (1) with Spa in trouble on 34-5.
And Robert Crane (2-28) then removed Max Young (9) and John Phillips (5) as the wickets continued to tumble.
Noah Hunt (12) top scored for Spa as Bewdley bowler Jack Mills (0-3) took the final three wickets of the innings with Droitwich all out for just 72.
However, Spa’s bowling attack made the perfect start with the ball as Max Young (2-28) removed Austin Ball (0) with the second ball of Bewdley’s reply.
And Sam Smith (1-12) then bowled Jacob Tanser-Harvey (5) to leave Bewdley on 6-2 at the end of the fourth over.
Bewdley batters Nick Wilkinson (13) and Wilson (23) combined at the crease to frustrate Spa with a 24-run partnership.
However, Young bowled Wilkinson to break up the partnership before Thuriappah (3-15) enjoyed a prolific spell with the ball.
Thuriappah bowled James Perrett (9) before taking the wickets of both Wilson and Michael Harris (4) in the same over.
With Bewdley in trouble on 57-6, Jack Mills (8 not out) and Damon Gariff (5 not out) guided the home side to victory in 26 overs with four wickets to spare.
