DANIEL Lategan’s century helped Kidderminster CC to a winning draw against Worfield.
Lategan scored at a rate of more than a run-a-ball while Andrew Kimberlin and Mateen Khan both scored half-centuries at Chester Road.
The hosts closed on 313-8 and restricted the visitors to 203-7 from 55 overs in reply.
Kidderminster took 17 points from the fixture to remain eight points clear of the relegation zone in the Birmingham and District Premier League Premier Division Two table.
Worfield won the toss and elected to field only for Kidderminster to score runs freely with the bat.
After Harry Sockett (18) fell to the bowling of Arfan Khan (2-68), Kimberlin (53) hit eight boundaries en route to a half-century.
Kimberlin shared a 90-run second-wicket stand with Lategan (124) as Rishin Patabedige (2-51) broke up the partnership.
Lategan’s knock came from just 118 balls and included 12 fours and two sixes.
He formed partnerships with Lucas Ingram (40) and Khan (55) before he was eventually bowled by Khan.
Ben Gibbon (18 not out) helped Kidderminster past the 300-mark as the hosts posted a daunting total.
A strong start with the ball set the home side on their way to a winning draw.
Liam Weston (2-13) had opener Shahrukh Khan (6) caught in the sixth over and also accounted for Aman Hussain (10).
And the wicket of Patabedige (5) saw Worfield slip to 34-3 before Lategan (1-33) claimed the scalp of Joe Wright (23).
Dylan Griffiths (2-35) then removed Greg Wright (18) and James Ralph (0) in consecutive balls to leave Worfield on 103-6.
However, Ross Aucott (99 not out) frustrated the Kidderminster attack in a 134-ball innings which denied the home side an outright victory.
Kidderminster are next in action against Dorridge on Saturday, July 12 with the game to begin at 12pm at Grange Road.
