WORCESTERSHIRE CCC will honour long-serving player Joe Leach ahead of his last-ever game for the county.
Leach confirmed he will retire from the sport at the end of the 2024 season back in July following another injury hit campaign.
The 33-year-old all-rounder will bring an end to his 12-year spell with the Pears following the conclusion of his side’s County Championship finale against Lancashire.
A series of events will take place throughout the fixture at New Road on Thursday, September 26 with the game to begin at 10.30am.
At the start of the first lunch interval, a presentation will take place in front of the Graeme Hick Pavilion to honour Leach’s contribution to the club.
Worcestershire CEO, Ashley Giles, said: “This is a fitting way to celebrate the legacy of Joe Leach, who has been instrumental in shaping the history and success of Worcestershire cricket.”
