KIDDERMINSTER Harriers goal-scoring machine Ashley Hemmings collected another hat-trick during the club’s end of season awards ceremony, writes Neil Gordon.
The Reds leading marksman walked away with no fewer than three awards during the ceremony held pitch-side at Aggborough following the club’s 5-1 victory against Hereford on Easter Monday.
Hemmings’ treble includes the supporters’ player of the season, players’ player of the season and away supporters player of the season awards.
The forward has scored 33 goals for Harriers this season as Kidderminster just missed out on winning the National League North title following a final day defeat at Southport.
Manager Phil Brown selected 21-year-old Kam Kandola as the young player of the season who has impressed at Aggborough following his move from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Other awards included the academy player of the season which went to Samuel Austin and the women’s player of the season award to Ellie McGovern, who was not present.
And for the team-behind-the-team, matchday steward Paul Ashcroft received a watch in respect of 25 years service, while the club presented Mark Roelink with the Helen Macdonald Trophy in respect of his 25 years outstanding service to Harriers.
