KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have signed creative midfielder Jack Clarke from manager Adam Murray’s former club Eastbourne Borough.
Clarke made more than 50 appearances for Borough in the National League South as Eastbourne just missed out on the title last season.
The 26-year-old will join Harriers on July 1 subject to FA and National League approval.
Murray said: “Jack is a creative midfielder who will make us tick. He reads the game brilliantly and will add control to our team.
“After coming back from an early injury last season he had an amazing second part of the season which led to a lot of admiration from other clubs.
“I am very happy he chose to be part of our journey and to showcase what he can do in front of our super fanbase.”
Clarke spent time in Aston Villa’s youth system before later joining Chesterfield following an initial loan spell with the Spireites.
He helped Chesterfield secure back-to-back play-off finishes before moving to Eastbourne in June 2023.
Murray also swooped to sign centre back Pierce Bird who played under the new Kidderminster boss at both Eastbourne and AFC Fylde.
