KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have confirmed the departures of two first-team players following the conclusion of the 2024/25 campaign.

Defender Reiss McNally and midfielder Luke Summerfield will both depart Aggborough upon the expiry of their contracts on June 30.

McNally played a starring role for Harriers last season as he scored four goals in 45 appearances as the club just missed out on promotion to the National League.

The 24-year-old joined Harriers on a permanent basis in May 2023 following an initial loan spell from Solihull Moors.

McNally posted on X: “I want to say a massive thanks to the management, my teammates and most importantly the fans for the opportunity to play for this club for three seasons.

“I’m truly going to miss being part of the Harriers family. I’ll cherish the memories we made here for life.

“I’m gutted we couldn’t get it done last season but I know you’ll get back to where you belong soon enough.”

Veteran midfielder Summerfield will also leave the club following a single campaign at Aggborough.

The 37-year-old saw his season curtailed by injury after he sustained a broken leg in early October.

He made just five appearances for the club.

Summerfield posted on X: “After a great and enjoyable start as a Kidderminster player, I’m gutted my season was taken away from me.

“I met some great people at the club and wish them good luck for the future, but after a short stay, it’s time for me to move on.

“I’m really looking forward to the season ahead.”
