KIDDERMINSTER Harriers will play Chester in the National League North play-off semi-finals this weekend.

Harriers will host Chester at Aggborough on Sunday, May 4 with kick-off at 3pm.

Kidderminster missed the chance to win the league title and promotion following a shock 2-1 defeat at Southport on the final day of the season.

Final day wins for Brackley Town and Scunthorpe United saw Harriers slip to third in the table.

Brackley clinched promotion as champions while Scunthorpe finished as runners-up.

It means Harriers must go through the play-offs as the club try to secure promotion back to the National League at the first attempt

Chester won 2-1 against Buxton after extra time to book a date with Harriers.

The two teams could not be separated in the league this season as both league matches ended 1-1.

The other semi-final sees Scunthorpe entertain Chorley.

Kidderminster host Chester on Sunday, May 4 with kick-off at 3pm at Aggborough.
