KOBE Hall’s injury time goal earned Kidderminster Harriers a last gasp win against rivals Halesowen Town in the FA Trophy.
Hall’s first Harriers goal completed a late turnaround after Reece Devine’s first-half goal cancelled out Jordan Ponticelli’s early opener at a packed Aggborough Stadium.
The victory puts Kidderminster into the hat for the third round draw of the competition.
Halesowen, who play one level below in the Southern League Premier Central, broke the deadlock on 10 minutes when a short back pass left Harriers goalkeeper Christian Dibble in no man’s land and Ponticelli collected the loose ball before finishing into an empty net.
Kidderminster drew level on 32 minutes as Devine finished from close range after the ball fell kindly into his path following Caleb Richards’ cross from the left.
Devine almost struck again moments later as he ran onto Ashley Hemmings’ through ball in-behind the Yeltz defence only to a lift a shot against the outside of the post.
The visitors spurned a golden chance to reclaim the lead in first-half injury time as Ponticelli’s effort came back off the inside of the post when one-on-one with Dibble.
Harriers dominated proceedings after the break as Yeltz goalkeeper Daniel Platt denied Hemmings with a crucial save.
However, substitute Hall came to Harriers rescue in the second minute of added time after Platt kept out his initial header before he finished at the second attempt from close range.
Kidderminster are next in action against Scarborough Athletic on Saturday, November 23 with kick-off at 3pm at Scarborough Sports Stadium.
