KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have made former National League North title winner Pierce Bird the club’s first summer signing.
Bird will join Harriers on July 1 subject to FA and National League approval and becomes new manager Adam Murray’s first addition as Kidderminster boss.
The 26-year-old centre-back previously won the National League North with Murray at AFC Fylde in the 2022/23 season.
Murray said: “Pierce has been with me at my last two clubs and had a great success.
“For me he is one of the best ball-playing centre backs at this level and has won the league before.
“He understands the league and will be a strong addition to the team.”
Bird also played under Murray at Eastbourne Borough last season in the National League South.
Borough missed out on the title by a single point before losing in the play-off semi-finals.
He is a former Northern Ireland under-21 international.
The defender previously played for Notts County, Eastleigh, King’s Lynn Town and a host of other clubs.
