KIDDERMINSTER Harriers Women are waiting to discover whether or not they have achieved promotion as league champions.

Harriers were due to host bottom club Knowle on the final day of the season.

Kidderminster knew a point or a win would have secured promotion and the title.

However, Knowle forfeited the fixture with the Solihull club unable to field a team.

Harriers are now awaiting confirmation from the league regarding the outcome of the fixture.

Kidderminster sit second in the West Midlands Regional League Premier Division table.

Harriers are one point behind leaders Lye Town but have played a game less.

Lye have played all of their league fixtures.

Should the league rule in Kidderminster’s favour, Harriers would secure promotion as champions.

The Standard has approached the league for a comment and are awaiting a response.
