KIDDERMINSTER Harriers Women vice-captain Lili-Beth Bown and teammate Alex Nicklin have both confirmed their retirements from the sport.

Bown and Nicklin both helped Harriers achieve promotion to the Women’s National League this season.

However, both players have hung up their boots following the conclusion of the campaign which also saw Kidderminster lift the WFA Women’s Sunday Cup.

Bown spent her final two seasons with Harriers and played an influential role in the club’s success this season.

Nicklin came through the club’s youth setup before joining Wolves’ Centre of Excellence.

She returned a decade later when Harriers Women reformed – winning a number of league titles and county cups.

Nicklin joined Stourbridge in 2020 where she enjoyed further success and reached Step Three of women’s football.

She returned to Harriers for her final season and bows out after helping Kidderminster to a league and cup double.
