KIDDERMINSTER Harriers Women saw their memorable run in the Women’s FA Cup come to an end following a 4-0 defeat against Blackburn Rovers.
Harriers reached the third round of the competition for the first time in their history but saw their record-breaking run ended by Women’s Championship side Rovers at Aggborough.
Kidderminster play three level below Blackburn but more than held their own in the first half as Rovers took a one-goal lead into the break.
However, the visitors showed their class in the second half as three further goals took the game out of Harriers’ reach.
