A BRACE from Connor Deards helped Stourport Swifts to an emphatic 4-0 win against Wolverhampton Casuals.
Deards struck either side of half time while Joe Hanson and Billy Moore both found the net at Walshes Meadow as Swifts ended their five-match winless run in all competitions.
The result means Stourport sit eighth in the Midland Football League Premier Division table, three points outside of the play-off places.
Stourport broke the deadlock after just nine minutes when Deards produced a clinical finish into the bottom left corner after latching onto a through ball.
And Swifts doubled their lead on 28 minutes as Hanson controlled a pass in the box before firing home from six-yards out.
The home side extended their lead on 61 minutes when the ball broke kindly to Deards in the box and the striker finished from close range.
And substitute Moore completed the scoring on 72 minutes when he poked home a cross from the right at the near post.
Stourport are next in action against Brocton on Saturday, December 7 with kick-off at 3pm at Walshes Meadow.
