STOURPORT Swifts ended a run of four straight defeats in all competitions following a 1-1 draw away at Northwich Victoria.
Swifts took the lead courtesy of James Hanson’s goal shortly before the break only for Sam Unwin to equalise for the home side in the second half at Barton Stadium.
And the result means Stourport sit ninth in the Midland Football League Premier Division table.
The visitors broke the deadlock five minutes before half time when Hanson lashed a superb effort past Kier Barry from 20-yards out.
However, Northwich drew level on 70 minutes as Unwin found the bottom left corner when one-on-one with Dom Richards.
Stourport are next in action against Wolverhampton Casuals on Saturday, November 30 with kick-off at 3pm at Walshes Meadow.
