KIDDERMINSTER Carolians II returned to winning ways with a 47-31 bonus point home victory against Redditch.

The Carolians earned their 10th win of the league season at Marlpool Lane.

And the result means Kidderminster sit sixtth in the Counties 4 Midlands West (South) table.

After Redditch scored the game’s first try, Kidderminster responded with three quickfire converted tries to turn the fixture on its head.

The visitors hit back only for the Carolians to cross twice more before the interval to take a commanding 23-point lead into the break.

And Kidderminster touched down again after the break to all but seal the points.

Redditch threatened a late comeback after crossing for three tries before the Carolians scored the game’s final try to secure a fine victory.

Kidderminster are next in action against Droitwich II on Saturday, March 22 with kick-off at 3pm at Hanbury Road.
