CROWDS descended on the latest Bewdley Artisan Market at the town’s rowing club last Friday.
More than 25 stalls were available to browse offering a multitude of goods, including gin, wine, fresh bread, pies, pastries, venison wood crafts, oils, candles, artwork, preserves, silverware and jewellery, cheese, bespoke crochet, handmade soaps, plants and more.

The event was also attended by newly-elected Mayor, Coun Sharon Harvey, who took up the role last month.

She said: “The weather was not the best in the morning but it brightened up in the afternoon and it was very well-attended.
“I was very impressed with both the quality of the goods and the variety of stalls on offer.
“It was a lovely day.”

Ellie Hooper, who organises the event with Sonia Lloyd, said: “We were absolutely thrilled with the footfall – these Bewdley Artisan Markets seem to be more popular each time we hold them.
“We also had fresh pulled-pork, crackling and apple sauce baps for the first time from The Hop Pole which went down really well.
“People came down and really made a day of it.”
