KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have strengthened their backline with the signing of experienced defender Cian Harries on a season-long loan.
The 29-year-old centre-back arrives at Aggborough on a season-long loan deal from Kidderminster’s National League rivals Forest Green Rovers.
Harries came through Coventry City’s academy and later played for Swansea City, Bristol Rovers and Swindon Town in the Football League.
He made 17 first team appearances for Coventry and featured on loan for Cheltenham Town before joining then Premier League side Swansea in July 2017.
Harries played twice for the Swans in the Championship and score one goal in eight appearances on loan at Eredivisie side Fortuna Sittard.
The defender played more than 50 times for Bristol Rovers and enjoyed a brief stint at Swindon before dropping into non-league with Aldershot Town.
Harries scored seven goals in 41 games for Aldershot in the National League in 2023/24 before completing a move to Woking.
He impressed in 24 appearances for Woking and later joined Forest Green in January 2025.
However, the defender struggled with injuries last term as he managed just a single appearance for Robbie Savage’s side.
