ZAK Brown admits his return to Kidderminster Harriers ‘feels like coming home’ following a one-season spell with Brackley Town.
Brown returns to Aggborough after spending the 2025/26 campaign in the National League with Brackley.
The midfielder scored three goals in 38 games for Brackley last term as the Iron suffered relegation from the National League.
That came following a three-year spell with Harriers during which time Brown made 143 appearances and won promotion to the National League with Kidderminster in 2022/23.
And Brown feels like he has come home after sealing a return to Aggborough under newly-appointed Harriers boss Paul Wotton.
Brown said: “It feels like coming home. I’m buzzing to be back and buzzing to be here.
“It’s a tough league but I’ve got full confidence in the group that’s here and I think we’ll do well.
“The club itself is a massive club. For me it’s a National League club minimum.
“Everyone is in it together and the only way is up, I’m just buzzing to be a part of it.
“I feel like I’ve got a point to prove, for myself, the club and the fans. I’m ready to give everything on the pitch.”
The 25-year-old expressed his love for the club after initially joining Harriers from Alvechurch back in 2022.
Brown added: “I came here when I was 20-years-old and came from Step Three.
“It just felt like home straightaway. It’s a special place for me and my family. I love it here.
“[My move to Brackley] was you think you might need a change.
“You need to go through it sometimes to take you back home and thankfully I’ve got the opportunity to come back.”
