KEMP Hospice has welcomed a new Head of Care and Quality, writes Charlotte Hall.
Chrissla Davis has joined the Wyre Forest charity which provides specialist care and support for people living with life-limiting illness and bereavement.
Through a range of support, the service helps to navigate some of life’s most difficult journeys.
The charity said Chrissla brought a wealth of experience to the role, having previously worked as an advanced clincial practitioner and consultant nurse.
She has also held several leadership positions, including director of nursing workforce for Wolverhampton and Walsall, and has led clinical workforces services across Shropshire.
KEMP Hospice’s cheif executive Caroline Beech said she was delighted to welcome Chrissla to the team.
“She brings a wealth of clincial expertise and leadership experience, together with a genuine passion for delivering high-quality compassionate care.
As we continue to develop our services to meet the growing needs of our community, Chrissla will play a key role in ensuring we provide the very best care and support for patients and those closest to them.”
Speaking on her appointment, Chrissla said “Throughout my career, one thing has remained constant – people always come first.
“Joining KEMP Hospice is an honour, and I am excited to work with colleagues, volunteers and our community to ensure every person receives care that is safe, compassionate and truly centred around what matters most to them most.”
