KIDDERMINSTER Harriers boss Phil Brown has won the National League North’s manager of the month award for November.
Harriers enjoyed a fine month in November after accumulating five wins, one draw and one defeat from seven matches.
The results have propelled Kidderminster back into title contention with Harriers just five points behind National League North leaders Curzon Ashton.
Brown said: “It’s testimony to the players and backroom staff. You’re the manager, so you get the plaudits and awards, but it’s got nothing to do with me in the grand scheme of things.
“I love the backroom staff and love the way they work, they’re very thorough and detailed, and that’s the other side of game, for me. I like the glamour, the Ra Ra, the glitz and the great goals, I need a practical backroom staff around me, and that’s what I’ve got.
“I’ve got people that recognise my strengths and also my weaknesses, and they dovetail very well with me, so this is testimony to the backroom staff and the players, and I thank everybody in Kidderminster for the support I’ve been getting.”
