DAN Rowbottom achieved successive sixth-place finishes to help NAPA Racing UK win the teams title in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
The Kidderminster driver finished sixth in races one and two at Brands Hatch before suffering a disqualification in the final race of the season.
After back-to-back sixth-place finishes, Rowbottom initially crossed the line in the final race of the season in eighth place.
However, he suffered a post-race disqualification and received four penalty points on his licence for causing a collision with teammate Dan Cammish.
Rowbottom ended the season with his highest-ever points tally after finishing the 2025 campaign on 277 points.
He achieved three race wins and five third-place finishes to end the season with eight podiums and in fifth place in the drivers’ standings.
Driving for NAPA Racing UK, Rowbottom also helped his team claim the teams title as NAPA finished just two points ahead of Team Vertu.
Team Vertu’s Tom Ingram won his second BTCC title with Rowbottom’s teammate Ash Sutton in second.
