Stourport CC chairman, Matt Delo said: “On behalf of everyone at Stourport Cricket Club, I want to say how incredibly proud and happy we are of the first XI for being crowned champions of the Worcestershire County Premier Division.
“This is a tremendous achievement and a true testament to the dedication, hard work, and teamwork of every player, the committee, and all the volunteers behind the scenes.
“A special mention must go to our captain, Charlie Foley.
“His journey from our under 8’s team to leading the first XI to this historic title is an inspiration to all our young players and a testament to the club’s development pathway.
“They have shown immense character throughout the season, and it’s fantastic to see their efforts rewarded with this historic title.
“Now, our attention turns to the Birmingham League play-offs, which will take place on the 20th, 21st, and 27th of September.
“We are excited to give it our all.
“This league win is not just for the team, but for our entire community, and we look forward to celebrating this success together.”
