BEWDLEY Town lost 2-0 at FC Stratford as the club suffered their first away defeat of the season.
Goals from Sam Rodber and Dan Purvin condemned Bewdley to defeat at the Arden Garages Stadium.
The result means Bewdley sit ninth in the Hellenic League Division One table.
Stratford took the lead on 66 minutes when Rodber smashed Robbie Sone’s cross past Bewdley goalkeeper Kai Lloyd.
And the home side struck again four minutes later as Purvin headed home Dan Baldwin’s corner from six-yards out.
Bewdley are next in action against Ludlow Town in the FA Vase on Saturday, August 23 with kick-off at 3pm at Bromfield Road.
