KIDDERMINSTER Harriers played out a frustrating 1-1 home draw against play-off hopefuls Chester despite a wondergoal from Charlie Cooper.
Cooper lashed a stunning effort from distance into the net to break the deadlock on the hour mark at Aggborough.
However, Finley Shrimpton drew the visitors level on 75 minutes with Harriers forced to settle for a point.
The result means Kidderminster sit fourth in the National League North table, nine points clear of the chasing pack in the race for a play-off place.
After a cagey opening half-hour, Harriers goalkeeper Christian Dibble turned Scott Burgess’s shot across goal from a tight angle behind.
And Dibble then denied Fin Roberts from close range to keep the scores level after Kidderminster lost possession deep inside their own half.
The home side’s best chance of the first period came in injury time as Ryley Reynolds glanced Joe Foulkes’ cross wide at the near post.
Harriers almost pounced on a mistake at the start of the second period following a short backpass with Bobby Jones equal to Reece Devine’s effort.
Chester responded with a couple of chances of their own as Declan Weeks fired wide before Dibble pushed another Burgess strike to safety.
Harriers broke the deadlock on 60 minutes when Cooper unleashed a swerving effort from 35-yards out which arrowed into the top-right corner.
However, the visitors equalised with 15 minutes left to play as Shrimpton collected the ball inside the area and rolled a composed finish past Dibble.
Kidderminster are next in action against Chorley on Tuesday, March 17 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Victory Park.
