KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have allowed 17 players to depart Aggborough after the club revealed their retained and released list following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
Harriers revealed their retained and released list after securing promotion back to the National League this season following a play-off final victory against South Shields.
And a total of 17 players will depart Aggborough including long-serving stalwarts Amari Morgan-Smith, Joe Foulkes, Alex Penny, Christian Dibble and Tom Palmer.
Morgan-Smith captained Harriers last season and made more than 300 appearances for the club across two separate spells.
Full-back Foulkes made close to 150 appearances for Harriers and secured two promotions with the club.
Defender Penny spent six-and-a-half years at Harriers and made more than 140 appearances for Kidderminster.
Penny found the net against West Ham United in the fourth round of the FA Cup back in 2021/22 as Harriers suffered a cruel defeat in extra time.
Goalkeeper Dibble made 163 appearances for Harriers and recorded 58 clean sheets during his time between the sticks at Aggborough.
He also helped the club to two promotions and will remain in the National League North next season after joining Macclesfield.
Fellow shot-stopper Palmer spent a decade with the club and held a player-goalkeeping coach role at the club after coming through the Harriers academy.
He made more than 50 appearances for the first team but now heads to Barrow to become goalkeeping coach under former Harriers boss Adam Murray.
Both Foulkes and Dibble turned down fresh terms to remain at Aggborough next season.
First team players Kam Kandola, Jack Clarke, Pierce Bird, Tobi Sho-Silva, Rhys Lovett and Josh Robinson will also depart the club upon the expiration of their contracts.
The club remain in talks with Seb Thompson, Samson Hewett, George Walker, Reece Hall and Josh Bishop regarding new contracts.
And loan players Kieren Donnelly, Ryley Reynolds, Charlie Cooper, Brayden Johnson, Festus Arthur and Danny Waldron have all returned to their parent clubs.
The departures mean newly-appointed boss Paul Wotton will begin the campaign with only nine contracted players.
David Davis, Reece Devine, Emeka Obi, Owen Evans, Richard Faakye, Bruce Minaker, Louis Francis, Arthur Squire and Layton Love remain under contract at Harriers next season.
The club have also invited striker Dan Mooney to pre-season training ahead of the 2026/27 campaign to allow the forward to continue his rehabilitation from injury.
