KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have confirmed loan player Toby Onanaye has returned to parent club Leicester City.

The 19-year-old joined Harriers just before the turn of the year on an initial three-month loan deal.

However, the teenage midfielder has now returned to the Foxes after scoring one goal in four appearances for Harriers.

Kidderminster boss, Adam Murray said: “We have sent Toby back to Leicester after what we consider a really successful loan period and there are a number of factors involved.

“One is the return to fitness quicker than anticipated of Jack Clarke and Reece Hall.

“Although they will be the first to admit their performances at Macclesfield were not up to their normal standard, we also understand that they have been out for a very long time and will need minutes to get up to speed.

“There’s also the fact that we are up to our loan limit at the minute, with the rules being that you’re only five loan players allowed in a squad at one time.

“We do believe Toby has a big future and he’s one that we most certainly will be keeping our eyes on.”

And Harriers have also confirmed midfielder Luke Spokes has left the club by mutual consent.

Spokes scored three goals and provided two assists in 20 appearances for Harriers in the National League North.

The midfielder joined Weston Super Mare on loan at the start of the year but has now departed Kidderminster permanently.
