REECE Devine scored a dramatic last-gasp equaliser as Kidderminster Harriers fought-back from two goals down to snatch a deserved 2-2 draw against Worksop Town, writes Neil Gordon.
The Reds made a nightmare start and found themselves two goals down early on as the delight of thrashing Morecambe in the FA Trophy quickly evaporated.
Some 2,762 watched on at Aggborough as the club also paid a heartfelt tribute to young supporter Aaron Mills, who sadly died earlier this month aged just 18-years-old.
Kidderminster remain fourth in National League North table on 47 points while extending their unbeaten run to nine games.
Harriers went behind shortly after kick-off when Lewis Whitham displayed excellent composure to score after a great save by Christian Dibble in the Kidderminster goal.
Harriers then found themselves in deep trouble as Whitham grabbed his second moments later, when his deflected shot whizzed past Dibble to put Worksop two up after just 10 minutes.
As Harriers regrouped, applause rang out around the ground on 18 minutes as the club affectionately remembered supporter Aaron Mills.
The Reds looked for a way back, and despite applying pressure on the Worksop goal, half-time arrived with Harriers still trailing by two goals.
After the interval a determined Kidderminster went all out in search of a way back, with Owen Evans grabbing his first goal in a Reds shirt on the hour mark.
Evans intelligently created space before unleashing a shot from distance which hit the net with aplomb.
And it was one-way traffic until full time as Harriers searched for an equaliser, with George Walker endlessly foraging down the flank.
In stoppage time Walker sent over a perfect ball which Devine buried at the back post, via the aid of the crossbar, to draw the teams level as Harriers came away with a deserved point.
Kidderminster play Scarborough at the Mounting Systems Stadium on Saturday, January 24 with kick-off at 3pm.
