KIDDERMINSTER Harriers conceded three goals in the space of 10 second-half minutes to suffer a 3-1 defeat at Spennymoor Town.
Harriers lost back-to-back league games for the first time since October despite Seb Thompson’s goal putting the visitors ahead at Brewery Field.
However, Spennymoor struck three times in a 10-minute blitz after the break as goals from Corey McKeown, Olly Dyson and Glen Taylor condemned Adam Murray’s side to defeat.
The result means Kidderminster drop to fourth in the National League North table, six points clear of the chasing pack in the race for a play-off place.
Harriers opened the scoring on 31 minutes when the ball broke kindly to Thompson at the back post and he made no mistake after Owen Evans and Ryley Reynolds showed good footwork in the box.
However, Spennymoor equalised after the break on 56 minutes when McKeown picked his spot and found the bottom left corner.
And the home side completed the turnaround four minutes later as Dyson swept a first time shot past Rhys Lovett in the Harriers net.
Spennymoor struck again on 66 minutes when Taylor scored from the penalty spot after the same player drew a foul in the box.
Kidderminster are next in action against Hereford on Friday, April 3 with kick-off at 3pm at Aggborough.
