KIDDERMINSTER Harriers suffered just their second league defeat of the season after losing 2-1 against bottom club Peterborough Sports.

Former Harriers boss Phil Brown, now in charge of Peterborough, came out on top against his old side at Lincoln Road.

Defender Emeka Obi put Harriers ahead only for Max Booth to draw the home side level almost straight from the restart.

And Marcel Oakley completed the turnaround for Peterborough on the hour mark as Kidderminster saw their five-game unbeaten run in the league come to an end.

The result means Kidderminster sit seventh in the National League North table.

Harriers broke the deadlock on 34 minutes when Obi looped a shot over Peterborough goalkeeper Peter Crook from Jack Clarke’s flick-on.

However, Peterborough levelled the game just one minute later as Booth finished past Christian Dibble from Kaine Felix’s lofted through ball.

And the home side turned the game on its head on 60 minutes when Oakley finished from close range after Dibble could only parry Sam McLintock’s low effort into the scorer’s path.

Kidderminster are next in action against Radcliffe on Saturday, October 11 with kick-off at 3pm at Aggborough.
