FOOTBALL - Kidderminster Harriers thrash Marine in biggest league win of season

Kidderminster Editorial 25th Feb, 2026

KIDDERMINSTER Harriers secured their biggest league win of the season with a confidence boosting 4-0 victory against Marine, writes Neil Gordon.

Reece Devine struck twice in the first-half to put Harriers in command, before Emeka Obi and Amari Morgan-Smith completed the rout after the interval at Aggborough.

This was Kidderminster’s first league win in five games, their first home league win since January 3 and their biggest league victory since demolishing Hereford 5-1 last April.

A crowd of 1,939 saw Harriers return to fourth in National League North table on 56 points.

Devine put Kidderminster on the road to victory when he clinically rifled home Joe Foulkes’ cross on 19 minutes.

The goal came moments after Marine’s Offrande Zanzala had forced Harriers goalkeeper Christian Dibble into a reaction save.

Devine then doubled the lead as the interval approached when he gleefully intercepted a backpass to score with ease, racing past onrushing Marine goalkeeper Fraser Barnsley.

After the interval Dibble twice denied Zanzala in quick succession after firstly sticking a boot out to divert his shot away, before then tipping the same player’s header over the bar.

However, Obi made the points safe when he firmly headed home a free-kick to make it three on 66 minutes.

Devine had chances to claim a hat-trick but it wasn’t to be, and he rightly received a standing ovation when substituted.

And Morgan-Smith came off the bench to plant a vintage header home to make it 4-0 on 80 minutes to seal all three points as Harriers finished the game in style.

Kidderminster play Wealdstone in the FA Trophy quarter-finals at Aggborough on Saturday, February 28. Kick-off is 3pm.
