MAX Brogan believes he suits manager Paul Wotton’s style well after he became Kidderminster Harriers’ third summer signing.
The midfielder enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at relegated Leamington from Scunthorpe United in the National League North at the end of last season.
And the 24-year-old hopes he can make things happen in the middle of the park for Kidderminster next campaign.
Brogan said: “It’s brilliant, I’m really excited, I’m buzzing to get it over the line.
“The manager just gave me an insight of how we wants to play and he really suits me as a player.
“I’m a midfielder who likes to get up and down with lots of energy and get on the ball and make things happen.
“When I played against Harriers last season, the fans were unbelievable so I can’t wait to get playing in front of them.
“We want to try and do as well as we can, with the squad the manager is building, I think we’ll do really well.”
Brogan scored seven goals in 23 games for Leamington last term including a strike against Harriers in the penultimate game of the season.
And the midfielder believes an underdog mentality may serve Harriers well next season following the club’s promotion from the National League North.
Brogan added: “I did well [at Leamington], it was good to just go and play some games and enjoy my football.
“I enjoyed it at Leamington because we were down the bottom of the table so I enjoy that underdog mentality.
“I’ve been at Scunthorpe for the last two years and went on loan to Leamington at the back end of last season.
“There’s a little bit of a gap [between the National League and National League North].
“There’s some massive clubs in the National League now, you want to play in front of big crowds every week.”
